Application
- Long distance wiring on the DC side: suitable for string connection to the DC side of the inverter, especially in large-scale power plants, which can significantly reduce material costs

- High humidity/corrosive environment: Aluminum alloy has better chemical corrosion resistance than copper and can be used in coastal, saline alkali and other areas

Advantage
- Conductivity and Cost: Aluminum alloy has a conductivity of about 60% of copper and requires a larger cross-sectional area to meet the same current carrying capacity, but the cost is 30% -50% lower than copper cables
- Corrosion resistance: Aluminum alloy surface is prone to oxidation and requires tin plating process or anti-oxidation coating to enhance weather resistance, suitable for outdoor photovoltaic environment.
- Mechanical performance:Lightweight (30% lighter than copper cables), convenient for long-distance installation; But with a high coefficient of thermal expansion, it is necessary to reserve space for expansion and contraction.
