In October 2023, Zhongdong Cable Co., Ltd. completed the delivery of specialized  cables for a solar power station project developed by Inner Mongolia Electric Power Construction Group, marking a significant milestone in the region’s renewable energy infrastructure expansion.

The cables, designed with weather-resistant and UV-stable materials, are engineered to withstand the harsh desert climate of Inner Mongolia while ensuring efficient energy transmission for large-scale photovoltaic systems

The solar station, located in a high-insolation zone, is projected to integrate over 200MW of clean energy into the regional grid upon commissioning. Zhongdong’s cables meet international IEC standards for fire resistance and low smoke emission, critical for safeguarding grid stability and reducing operational risks.
