What are the key advantages of using Quadruplex Service Drop Aerial Bundled ABC Cable?
These cables offer enhanced safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness for overhead power distribution, reducing installation time and maintenance needs compared to traditional methods.
What materials are used in the construction of this cable?
It features aluminum conductors for lightweight strength, XLPE insulation for high-temperature resistance, and an aerial bundled design for weatherproofing.
How does the XLPE insulation improve performance?
XLPE (Cross-linked Polyethylene) provides superior thermal stability, chemical resistance, and longevity, making it ideal for harsh environmental conditions.
What is the temperature rating of this cable?
The cable is rated for continuous operation at temperatures up to 90°C, with short-term tolerance up to 120°C under emergency conditions.
What voltage ratings are available for this Quadruplex cable?
Common voltage ratings include 600V, 2kV, and 15kV, catering to low-voltage residential and medium-voltage industrial applications.
What sizes are available for the 4-core conductor?
Standard sizes range from 25mm² to 400mm², with options like 50mm², 95mm², and 240mm² for diverse load requirements.
How is the cable installed in aerial applications?
It uses a bundled design with self-supporting properties, often installed on poles or towers using clamps and spacers for secure overhead deployment.
What environmental conditions is this cable suitable for?
Designed to withstand UV exposure, moisture, and extreme temperatures, making it perfect for outdoor use in urban or rural settings.
What safety features does the aerial bundled design provide?
The bundled configuration minimizes the risk of short circuits and electric shocks, with XLPE insulation adding an extra layer of protection against faults.
